Tonight I visited some longtime friends. Our parents met many, MANY years ago (we won't go into specifics). As a result of their friendship, I became close to one of the sisters. Life goes on, you don't hang out anymore and then out of the blue you get a phone call...only to find out that the oldest sibling is moving to the Austin area.
Here we are years later, our parents are still friends, I'm friends with the oldest sister and now our children play together. Who'd a thunk?!
The weather was overcast (perfect for pictures), but there was a chill in the air and quite the breeze. Not ideal, but we made do...if I do say so myself. :)
