In Motion

One of the areas I still struggle with is taking pictures of things in motion. It's not something that I have practiced much - you'd think I'd be a pro with two boys! So today I made Z jump off a rock for me...about 30 times. Here's what we came up with...


Then he wanted to take my picture...jumping off the rock. How could I say no after I made him do it over and over and over?! :) I've had to practice and here's what he came up with on his second shot...

What the heck?! It has to be because he is constantly in motion that he was able to capture me.

So there you have it - our impromptu practice session. It was quite productive! I got a run in, the boys played at the park, and I was able to play with my photography! Doesn't get much better than that! Actually, it would be a lot better if the boys didn't weigh 700 pounds in the double jogger...
